Founded in 1999, the People of God Summer Camp strives to exalt and glorify Jesus by teaching children about Him and fostering an environment to form Christ-centered relationships. From Bible studies to prayer times, the presence of the Lord is evident throughout each day of camp week. Many of our former campers point back to camp as the moment when their faith became their own. As an ecumenical camp, both our campers and staff come from a variety of Christian faith backgrounds such as Presbyterian, Catholicism, and Non-Denominational. We promote and teach among the campers that the Body of Christ is called to be unified, and that denominational differences can enrich our community. The Holy Spirit being poured out on all people, is a source of power and unity for all of God's children (Read Acts Chapter 2). Thus, we invite our campers to both pray for and be open to a deeper relationship with Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Summer Camp is open to children in 3rd through 6th grade this academic year. In addition to the spiritual content of the week, we have many recreational activities: BB guns, archery, swimming, campfires, "C-Games" (Camp Games--a series of inter-cabin competitive relay races and other activities to promote team building) and more!
